Rothman Innovations was founded by educator, designer, and maker Josh Rothman to help schools and organizations build meaningful, sustainable STEM and maker programs.
My work is grounded in years of hands-on experience teaching technology, developing project-based curriculum, managing fabrication tools, and helping students turn ideas into working prototypes. I’ve worked across 3D printing, CAD, electronics, physical computing, digital fabrication, and human-centered design. Not simply as technologies to teach, but as tools for creative problem solving.
Rothman Innovations grew from that experience: helping organizations make thoughtful decisions about the programs, spaces, equipment, and training that allow hands-on learning to succeed.

The best STEM programs aren't defined by how much equipment they have. They're defined by what people are able to do with it.
I approach makerspaces, curriculum, and technology programs as interconnected systems. The right equipment matters, but so do thoughtful curriculum, reliable workflows, educator confidence, student agency, and a clear understanding of who the program is designed to serve.
Whether I'm helping build a makerspace, developing a course, training educators, or troubleshooting a fabrication workflow, the goal is the same: create something useful, sustainable, and capable of growing with the people who use it.
